hey mate here is ur answer....

C6H6O2 is undergoes oxidised as hydrogen is removed from it..

Oxidation is process in either oxygen is added to the substance or hydrogen is removed from the substance is known as oxidation reaction..

hey mate ur a s is catechol (C6H6O2) due to this process the H2 is undergoes the chemical and reaction and oxidation takes place
