As We know that Radha invested ₹50,000 @8% per annum for 3 years.

  • Using Amount Formula, we can find the interest for given interval of time.

Firstly, Using formula we have to find the amount of 2 yrs.

→ A = P(1 + r/100)ⁿ

→ A = 50,000(1 + 8/100)²

→ A = 50,000(108/100)²

→ A = 50,000(27/25)²

→ A = 50,000×27/25×27/25

→ A = 80 × 729

→ A = ₹58,320

Now, the amount after 2 yrs will be the Principal for the 3rd yrs.

→ A = 58,320(1 + 8/100)¹

→ A = 58,320(27/25)

→ A = ₹62985.6

→ Interest = Amount – Principal

→ ₹62985.6 – 58320

→ ₹4665.6

Hence,

The Interest for the 3rd yr will be ₹4665.6.

Note: Your Option is wrong & you can check yourself too.
