Answer:

1) Define Dobereiner's law of traids ?

Ans :- Dobereiner law of triads states that the average of the atomic masses of the first and third element in a triad will be roughly equal to the atomic mass of the second element in that triad. He suggested that this law can be extended for other properties of elements like density.

2) Define Metalloids

Ans :- A metalloid is a type of chemical element which has a preponderance of properties in between, or that are a mixture of, those of metals and nonmetals. There is no standard definition of a metalloid and no complete agreement on which elements are metalloids.

3) What is inert gas ?

Ans :- An inert gas is a gas that does not undergo chemical reactions under a set of given conditions. The noble gases often do not react with many substances and were historically referred to as the inert gases. Inert gases are used generally to avoid unwanted chemical reactions degrading a sample.
