p(x) = ax, a ≠ 0

In polynomial, the value of the variable in which the polynomial becomes 0. This is what we call zeroes of polynomials. As an input.

p(x) = ax

If x = 0

Then we get

p(0) = a(0)

provided that a is not zero.

Therefore, ax = 0
