Answer

a) Changing of water into water vapour is known as Vapourzation

  • In this process water from its liquid state changes to its vapour state by Means of heating (increasing Kinetic Energy of the particles)

b) Change of water vapour back to into water droplets is known as condensation

  • Here the vapour particles lose their kinetic energy and comes back to its liquid state

c) The dew drops on grass are examples of condensation

  • The water in air condenses to form those due drops on grass

d) The rainfall is known as precipitation

  • The process where the water in the clouds become very heavy and on correct temperature there will be rain (precipitation)

e) You can obtain salt from sea by evaporating the water

  • Here we let the sea water on patches of land and let the water evaporate so that the salt stays back

f) Hailstorm is a form of solid precipitation

  • Here ice pieces directly rain from clouds

g) Clouds are formed due to condensation

  • Here as well the water gets condensed with linking to the dust particles this forum clouds

h) In summer water evaporates very fast

  • This is because during summer the temperature will be more and so evaporation will be more
