I have a watched a lot of Discovery and Nat-geo documentaries while growing up, those things will finally come in handy.

I would wander around the island and make a mental note of the important things for survival-and-recreation, like places where I could find some fruits, vegetables, or other sources of vegetation suitable for eating; sources of fresh water, dry woods for fire, etc.

Once am through with that then I'll start making myself comfortable, build a tree-house probably (I'd feel safer in that than a normal hut built on ground).  

I am a little lazy at times, so probably won't do that for some time and go for a night-out or two before finally making it

On a second thought, since during the night time it would be more dangerous to go off-guard, I'll start sleeping during the day and spend the nights awake.  

we Would collect some good pieces of wood charcoal and take up to sketching onto stones. I am good at sketching, so that would really be an interesting thing to do. I'll experiment with different media : stones, leaves, tree barks, etc.

When I start feeling bored/tired of the lifestyle, I'd start planning for an escape. But till then I'll surely have a lot of fun.
