3x+4y=-1

& 2x-y=6

now, use substitution

y=2x-6

& put it in 1st equation

it will be

3x+4(2x-6)=-1

-> 3x+8x-24=-1

-> 11x=23

so x=23/11

& y=2×23/11-6

-> (46-66)/11

-> -20/11
