A) Distance covered= Circumference of the circle

Distance covered=2πr (from A to A)

  • Displacement = 0 because final and initial positions are same..

B) Distance covered = 1/2 of circumference of circle

Distance covered= 1/2 × 2πr

= πr (from a to B )

  • Displacement = AB is equal to diameter of the circle

2r or AB

C) Distance covered= 3/4 of circumference of the circle

Distance covered= 3/4× 2πr

3πr/2
