  1. We know velocity in North is equal to velocity in West. The force doesn't changes velocity initial as it is perpendicular but brings a final velocity.
  • Let's solve it...
  • Velocity in North after force exerted is
  • V=at=ft/m=40/1
  • So,V at West finally is 40m/s
  • Soresultant velocity is =rootover40*2+30*2=50m/s
