cosA/(1-tanA) - sin²A/(cosA-sinA)

= cosA/(1-sinA/cosA) - sin²A/(cosA-sinA)

= cos²A/(cosA-sinA)  - sin²A/(cosA-sinA)

=(cos²A-sin²A)/(cosA-sinA)

=(cosA-sinA)*(cosA+sinA)/(cosA-sinA)  (using identity a²-b²=(a-b)*(a+b))

=(cosA+sinA)

yadavyash13: I don't understand
viswabhargav: I just substituted tanA by sinA/cosA and proceeded further
yadavyash13: but I don't understand it
viswabhargav: I am not getting which step you did not understand
