given that

cos A + cos^2 A=1

cos A=1-cos^2 A

cos A=sin^2 A

now value of sin^2A +sin^4 A

=sin^2 A + sin^2A.sin^2A

since sin^2A = cos A... put in the above equation

sin^2 A +cos A. cos A

=sin^2 A + cos^2 A

=1

hence.. 1 is the answer

Hope it works Pls mark it as brainliest
