Prime factorisation of 55xy²= 11×5×x×y×y

Prime factorisation of 25xz=5×5×x×z

We can see that the both 55xy² and 25xz will have 5x as a common factor.

Hence, HCF=5x

heya!!!

a=55Xy^2=5×11×(X)×y×y

b=25X^2=5×5×(X)×(X)

so HCF (a,b)=5×(X)=5X

so the answer is 5X
