Please answer my question attachment provided what happens if we do not reduce friction in machines

We know that friction produces heat. Due to friction between machines a large amount of heat is generated in them...which may result in overheating and improper working of machines. Sometimes it can also lead to a fire. Therefore friction in machined should be reduced. It can be done by oiling them.
