there is a net moment in the direction of kid with 50kg weight.

this is because 30*2.5< 50*2

so to create a balance the man with 70kg weight must be located towards the kid with 30kg balance.

as per the equilibrium conditions,

the moment balance equation gives

30*2.5 + 70*x = 50*2

75 + 70*x=100

70x=25

x=25/70

x=0.357m from the center towards the 30kg kid.
