oh now i understand the que

first abcd are in continued proportion

a/b=b/c=c/d

so b^2=ac c^2=bd ad =bc

then

(a^2-b^2)(c^2-d^2)

=a^2-ac×bd-d^2

=ad (a-c)(b-d)

=bc (a-c)(b-d)

=(ac-c^2)×(b^2-bd)

=(b^2-c^2)×(b^2-c^2)

=(b^2-c^2)^2

hope it help you
