all we have to do is to cross multiple, means x-3 will be multiplied by -2 , and 4 will be multiplied by 5. Remember x and -3 are not diffrernt just like in 67 , 6 and 7 we cannot write it seperately.

So -2(x-3)= 4×5

    -2x +6 = 20                   { -2× x = -2x,  -2×-3 = 6 as (-) × (-) = (+)

    -2x = 20 - 6

    -2x = 14

    -x = \frac{14}{2}

    -x = 7

    As a variable cannot be negative , we will transpose (-) to the answer(quotient)

    x = -7
