(ii) y = 50° ( Angles opposite to equal sides are equal )


x = y + 50° ( By exterior angle property )


  = 50° + 50°


  = 100°


(iii) y = 30° ( vertically opposite angle )


x + 2y = 180° ( angle sum property in a triangle )


x + 60° = 180°


x = 180-60


x = 120°


(v) y = 180 - 30 ( adjacent exterior angle )


y = 150°


Assuming the triangle to be an right angled triangle.


x = 180-90-30 ( Using angle sum property )


x = 180-120


x = 60°


(vi)


80 + x + x = 180° ( Using angle sum property , the vertically opposite angles, angles opposite to equal sides are equal )


80 + 2x = 180


2x = 100


x = 50°


x + y = 180° ( Adjacent exterior angle of a triangle )


50 + y = 180


y = 130°
