1. [Initial vel] u= 0m/s, a= 2m/s², t= 5sec

Displacement= s= ut+ (1\2)at²

                           = 0+ 25= 25m

2. v= u+ at, so, v= 0+ 10= 10m/s

   With this constant aquired velocity, it travelled for 5sec.

∴Distace travelled= 10m/s× 5sec

                              = 50m

3. By our understanding, we can say that now it travelles 25m before        coming to rest just as in first case.

But if you want it by formula,

u= 10m/s, a= -2m/s², t=5sec

s= ut+ (1\2)at²= 10×5 - (1/2)2×5²

                     = 50- 25= 25m

Now adding all three, 25+50+25= 100m.
