★ If we go into the space, we can see that asteroid of meteors are never too hot or burning.

★ But when they come into the oribit of any other planet, they get atteacted towards it due to the gravitational force.

★ Due to this attraction, when they get into the, atmosphere of any planet, they feel a friction opposing their motion.

★ And, we know that friction produces heat. Also the asteroids and meteors are made up of rocks and gases. When the heats gets more, it produces some ignition.

★ Due to the presence of gases like hydrogen, nitrogen, etc. in the asteroids, because of ignition they catch fire. And also, the presence of oxygen in the atmosphere supports this combustion. Thus they become hot.

★ And, at this time they get burned and their temperature increases.
