4. Find the determinant of the 2 x 2 matrix. ↓
5. Multiply the answer by your chosen element. ↓
6. Determine the sign of your answer. ↓
7. Repeat this process for the second element in your reference row or column. ↓

9. Add your three results together. ↓

i forgot to mention one thing. When u will calculate all 3 terms together your 1st term will be positive, 2nd will be negative and 3rd will be positive
As i have taken 1+ve, 6 as -ve and 4 as +ve
and one thing plzz handle my handwriting its worst than nothing :-))
