Perimeter of figure A

4 + 5 + 7 + 1 = 17 cm

Perimeter of figure B

4 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 6 + 9 +5 = 32 cm

Perimeter is nothing but sum of all sides.

are of figure a) will be  27 sq cm

first divide it into 2 part just like given in the pinned figure

first lets find area of rectangle with b=4 and l-5

which will be area = l*b = 5*4 = 20 sq cm

now lets calculate the area of 1cm breadth and and length 7cm

area= 7*1= 7

to calculate the area of complete figure we will add the 2 areas that is 20+7 =27 sq cm
