Step-by-step explanation:

Using BODMAS rule

1.a) [-2/3x3/5+5/2-3/5]

=[-2/5+5/2-3/5]

=[21/10-3/5]

=[21-6/10]=15/10=3/2

b)2/5x[-3/7+(-1/6)]

=2/5x[-25/42]

= -5/21

2.Only -1/5 lies between -1/4 and 1/4
