4)A charged particle(molecule or element) is called an ion

Postitively charged ion is called cation
Eg :- Na +, Ca 2+

Negatively charged ion is called anion
Eg:- Cl -, Br -

5)molecular mass of a substance is the sum of the atomic masses of elements in a molecule of the substance

Atomic mass of H2 = 2
For oxygen = 16
Molecular mass = 18 u

6)combining capacity of an element is called Valency. The no of electron in the outermost shell of element determine its Valency

Magnesium Valency is 2 , copper has valency 1 & 2

7) same 4th answer but write in tabular column
