m1 = m2 = 1.5 kg
u1 = 2.5 m/s
u2 = -2.5 m/s ( as they are in opposite direction)
v1 = v2
According to law of conservation of momentum
m1u1 + m2u2 = m1v1 + m2v2
1.5×2.5 + 1.5×(-2.5) = 1.5v + 1.5v
0 = 3v
v = 0 m/s
u1 = 2.5 m/s
