Dear Diary,

Today was a wonderful day as it was my first day of the summer camp at the Rosary Woods. In the first week they decided to teach us swimming. As I already knew swimming, it was easy for me. My teacher appreciated me a lot and this boosted my self-esteem. I made several new friends in the camp and they come from various states. I also helped them in learning swimming.

The next session was public speaking. The professional trainer taught us the tips to speak confidently and fluently. The mock speeches were brilliant. I was given the topic- ‘My Favourite Book’ during the extempore speech session. I spoke quiet well and everyone applauded. The trainer praised me. He also gave me few tips to further improve my speaking skills.

We are going to have a Bonfire in the night where all children will assemble and have a great time together. Looking forward to have a gala time together. Got to go. Till then bye, see you diary tomorrow again.

Yours lovingly,

Daisy
