Length of the DNA = The number of base pairs*distance between two base pairs.

So let the no. Of base pairs be x.so,x=length of dna/distance between two base pairs.

That is,x=1mm/0.34nm

=10 to the power -3 m/0.34*10 to the power -9 m

=2.94 *ten to the power six

=3 million...
