please answer only if you know the answer. (please don't give rubbish answer or I will report. (1) Give three characteristics of particles of matter. (2) Which gas will diffuse faster HCL or NH3? why? (3) Why do we feel more cold after taking both with hot water? explain? (4) Why is cold-drink bottle kept in freezer? explain? (5) Give three differences between boiling and evaporation. (6) Khushi's mother always squeeze water from the clothes in the spinner of her washing machine and then use the leftover water to clean the floor. (a) Write the principle of technique used in the above process. (b) Write one application of this technique. (c) What value do you learn from Khushi's mother.

Answer:

(1) The characteristics are-

a.  The particles of matter have intermolecular spaces between them

b. The particles have intermolecular attraction between them

c. They are very small i.e, beyond our imagination

(2) NH3 is lighter than HCL therefore it diffuse faster.

If both are placed in a tube, NH3 would diffuse faster since it's lighter.

(3) We feel cool after taking a hot bath. This happens because, when the water changes from liquid state to the vapour state, it absorbs heat energy from the body. The body thus loses heat and gets cooled, this happens due to latent heat of evaporation.

(4) It is because if it is kept out side there will be a change of pressure inside the bottle and thus, it will ultimately burst.

(5)  Boiling-

a. It is a faster process to change water in vapour state.

b. It requires a particular temperature

c. It requires an external source of heat

Evaporation-

a. it is a slow process compared to boiling

b. it takes place at any temperature

c. it does not require any external source of heat

(6)  a. The process is centrifugation

     b.  It is used for seperation of cream from curd.

     c.  she is trying to save water abd reuse it as cleaning the floor makes                           use of that water... value is that we should save water.
