Answer:

No. of students in the school = 1800.

No. of students who opted basketball = 750.

No. of students who opted cricket = 800

The remaining opted table tennis.

So, no. of students who opted table tennis = 1800 - 750 - 800 = 250.

a) Ratio of the no. of students who opted basketball to the no. of students who opted table tennis = 750/250 = 3 : 1.

b) Ratio of the no. of students who opted cricket to the no. of students who opted basketball = 800/750 = 16 : 15.

c) Ratio of the no. of students who opted basketball to the total no. of students = 750/1800 = 5 : 12.

To find the ratio, I just reduced them to their simplest forms.

Hope it helps! :)
