Answer: 250 g (approx)

40% sugar = 420 grams solution

So, 1% sugar = 420/40 g solution

1% sugar = 21/2 = 10.5 g solution

Hence, 65% sugar = (10.5 x 65) g sol.

65% sugar = 682.5 g solution

So, (682.5 - 420) = 262.5 g

Hence, 262.5 g more to be added to get a solution of 65% sugar.....

Hope it helps...
