( i ) Age of mother to the age of daughter when the daughter was 14 years .

➙ present age of daughter = 16 ; 16 - 2 = 14 . as given in the Question , before 2 yrs the age of daughter was 14 years .

➙ present age of mother = 52 ; before 2 yrs the mother was 52 - 2 = 50 yrs
