A 15 sided polygon prism has two 15 sided polygons as base and top and  15 rectangular faces along sides. so it has 15+2=17 faces.

Number of Edges =15 at top ,15 at base and 15 connecting top and base=45 total Edges.

By formula V =E - F +2

Number of Vertices =45-17 +2 =30.

For Pyramid ,It has 16 faces ,one as its base and 15 along sides. It has 15 Edges at base and 15 connecting it to top =30 total faces.

Number of vertices =30-16+2=16
