Solution

Given :-

  • (2p+1) , 7 , 3p is a terms of A.P.

Find :-

  • Value of p

Explanation

We know,

In A.P. series common difference always be same of any two teams .

So,

If we take (2p+1) , 7 , 3p teams

Then,

Common difference between two terms will be same.

➡ 7 - (2p+1) = 3p - 7

➡ 7 - 2p - 1 = 3p - 7

➡ 3p + 2p = 7 + 6

➡5p = 13

➡p = 13/5

➡p = 2.6

_____________________

Terms will be ,

First terms ,

  • 2p+1 = 2 × 2.6 + 1 = 5.2 + 1 = 6.2

Second terms

  • 7

Third terms

  • 3p = 3 × 2.6 = 7.8

Since, terms be

  • 6.2 , 7 , 7.8

Hence

  • Value of p be = 2.6

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

given:−

2p−1,7,3p are in A.P

As we know the half of the sum of the A.P is equal to the middle one

2p−1+3p  / 2 =7

5p−1=14

5p=14+1

5p=15

p=3.
