hi Santhosh,

if u carefully draw the diagram the u will see A,B,C forms a right triangle

so AB^2 + BC^2 = AC^2
AC^2 = 16^2 + 12^2
AC = √256+144
AC = √400
AC = 20

now AC is actually the diameter of the circle touching the given points A,B,C since ABC is a right triangle with hypotenuse as diameter.

so radius = d/2 = AC/2 = 20/2 = 10cm
