DarkShadow492: sir..should'nt the answer be x^2-4x+4=0 ?
DarkShadow492: x^2- x(sum of zeroes) + (product of zeroes) is the correct formula
DarkShadow492: x^2 + 4x + 4 is the final answer i think!
DarkShadow492: as minus sign gets cancelled
sristijk15: YA ryt i put my answer below with a silly mistake in too that i later corrected

as i know.........
x2-1=0 therefore x2=1
therefore x is +/-1
now the zeroes alpha can be 1 and beta can be -1.
so 2x1/-1=-2
so 2x-1/1=2
therefore alph+beta is 0 and alphabeta is -4
so new equation is x2-(alpha+beta )x+alphabeta
x2-0+(-4)
x2-4
PS:x2 is x square

sristijk15: I M SORR IT IS -2 AND EQUATION IS X2-4X+4
DarkShadow492: actually it is x^2 + 4x + 4 ....anyways..thanks for answering
DarkShadow492: i solved it just now
