Solution

given

area = 4√3 cm^2

we know that,

area of equilateral triangle = √3/4*side ^2

4√3=√3/4*side^2

16=side^2

4 = side

hence

side of equilateral triangle is 4cm

{\huge{\pink{\underline{\underline{\purple{\mathbb{\bold{\mathcal{AnSwEr..}}}}}}}}}

{\large{\blue{\bold{\underline{Given:-}}}}}

▪︎ Area of equilateral triangle,

 = 4 \sqrt{3}  \: cm {}^{2}

▪︎ Let the side of equilateral triangle be x.

{\large{\blue{\bold{\underline{Now,}}}}}

▪︎ We know that area of an equilateral triangle,

 =   \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} \times side {}^{2}   \\  \\ \implies \:  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} \times  {x}^{2}  = 4 \sqrt{3} \: cm {}^{2}   \\  \\ \implies  \frac{ \sqrt{3} {x}^{2}  }{4}  = 4 \sqrt{3} cm {}^{2}  \\  \\ \implies \sqrt{3}  {x}^{2}  = 4(4 \sqrt{3} \: cm {}^{2}) \\  \\    \implies \:  {x}^{2} =  \frac{16 \sqrt{3  } cm {}^{2} }{ \sqrt{3} } \\  \\ \implies {x}^{2} = 16 \: cm {}^{2}  \\  \\  \implies \: x =  \sqrt{16 \: cm {}^{2} }  \\  \\ \implies \: x = 4 \: cm

Therefore the side of the equilateral triangle is 4cm.
