1. A chemical reaction happens if you mix together an acid and a base. The reaction is called neutralisation . A neutral solution is made if you add just the right amount of acid and base together

2.An Ant sting contains formic acid. So here, when an ant bites it injects formic acid into your skin and this acid reacts with your skin and causes pain. So, calamine solution is applied to neutralise the effect of it .

3. b) both are acidic in nature

4. This is an acid-base reaction (neutralization): H2SO4 is an acid, Mg(OH)2 is a base.

hope it is helpful dear

Answer:

1. Neutralisation reaction is the chemical reaction in which acid and base react to form salt and water. Neutral solution is different because it is the solution where it is formed by both strong acid and a strong base.

2. We apply calamine solution to ant bite to neutralise the working of the formic acid and to reduce the pain as calamine is a base.

3. b) both are acidic in nature because ant sting contains formic acid and both contain formic acid.

4. Neutralisation reaction
