I disagree

(Gods differ in different religions, but this is my thought)

First of all, God(s) are what they are to humans because they have a high level of existence -- and by that, I mean they are omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent. God(s) are the creator (s) of the universe. How big is the universe? How big is the existence of human beings? Hence, to God(s), humans might just be a speck of dust. Why do God(s) need a speck of dust to serve them?

Moreover, a legendary hero has the power close to God(s). That itself is a sin -- to defy fate by transcending mortality.

Please, again, this is just my personal thought. I am not being disrespectful to other religions. The answer will be different for different people.
