Answer:

4) 49 Newtown of force act in vertically downward direction on 5 kilometres body

as we know that according to Newtown second law of motion

F=mg

where F=force of gravity

m= mass of the object

g= acceleration due to gravity

by putting value which are given in the question in this equation we get

F=9.8×5N

F=49N

and force of the gravity acts in down direction

7). the weight of the man on the earth=600N

weight=mass ×gravity

600N= mass×9.8m/square

mass=600\9.8=61.22kg (approximately)

mass of the man =61.22kg

given gravity on the moon=1\6of gravity on the earth

therefore

gravity on the moon=1\6×9.8

=1.63m/s

weight of man on the moon=mass of the men × gravity on the moon

=61.22×1.63

=99.99 N (approximately)

=100 N

8) (A)

F=ma

= 10.5×10

= 105N

(B)

W=mg

= 10.5×10

=105N
