Sol.  We know, the meeting point of the three medians of a triangle, i.e., the centroid divides the each of the medians in the ratio 2:1.

Now, given GT = 2.5

Therefore, PG/GT = 2/1

                =>PG = 2 X GT

                =>PG = 2 X 2.5

                =>PG = 5

Clearly,   PT = PG + GT

                    =5 + 2.5

               PT =7.5
