Ans(8)

let 2alpha =A and 2beta =B

A+B= -b/a

2alpha+2beta=-1

2(alpha+beta)=-1

alpha+beta= -1/2 ..........(i)

A*B=c/a

2alpha*2beta=1/4

alpha*beta=1/16............(ii)

putting (i) in(ii)

-1/2 beta*beta=1/16

beta^2 =1/16+1/2

beta^2=9/16

beta=+- 3/4 .......(iii)

putting (iii) in (i)

you get the value of alpha.
