focal length, f=R/2 = 15 cm

Let image distance be 'v' cm.

Using mirror formula,

1/u+1/v = 1/f

So, 1/u = 1/f - 1/v

Magnification is given, m = +1/2 (Image is half the size of object and it should be erect in case of convex)
m=-v/u = -v(1/f-1/v) = 1-v/f = 1/2

So v/f = 1-1/2=1/2

Therefore v = f/2 = 7.5 cm
