Given:-

volume =  48 \: {m}^{3}

and we know,

volume = base \:  area\times length

so,

48 = base \: area \:  \times 6

base \: area \:  = 8  \: {m}^{2}

so,

area of one face circular region=8 m^2

area of both circular faces = 8*2= 16 m^2

and we knoe,

base \: area = \pi {r}^{2}

8 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {r}^{2}

r =  \sqrt{ \frac{8 \times 7}{22} }

r = 0.34  \: m\: (approx)

so,

length of radius=0.34 m (approx)

Answer:

 h = 6m \\ v = 48 {m}^{3}   \\  a). \: area \: of \: circular \: face \:  =  \frac{v}{h }  \\  =  \frac{48}{6}  \\  = 8 {m}^{2}  \\ b) area \: of \: circular \: face \:  = 8 {m}^{2} \: \\2\pi \times  {r}^{2}  = 8 \\   \frac{22}{7 \  }  \times {r}^{2}  =  \frac{8}{2}  \\  {r}^{2}  =  {4}  \times  \frac{7}{22}   \\  {r}^{2}  =  \frac{14}{11}   \\ r =  \sqrt{ \frac{14}{11} }
