Step-by-step explanation:

1. area of shaded region = area of triangle

=> area of triangle = 1/2 ×base ×height

=> area = 1/2 ×36m ×24m

=> area = 432m²

therefore, area of shaded region is 432m²

2.area of unshaded region = area of rectangle + area of circ

area of rectangle = 20 × 40cm = 800cm²

area of circ =22/7 × r² = 22/7 × 7² = 22 × 7cm= 144cm²

therefore, area of unshaded region = 800 +144 =944cm²

area of shaded region = area of trapezium - 944cm²

area =  \frac{1}{2}  \times (a + b) \times h \\  =  > area =  \frac{a + b}{2}  \times h \\  =  > area =  \frac{160 + 120}{2}  \times 100 \\  =  > area \:  =  \frac{280}{2}  \times 100 = 140000 {cm}^{2}

therefore, area of shaded region =

140000cm² -944cm² =139,056cm²
