Any number that is divisible by 5 can be written as 5n, where n is a random number, for example 30=5*6.

Now, if a number leaves remainder of 3, that means the number is 3 more than a multiple of 5, so it can be represented as 5n+3, for example 13 leaves remainder of 3 and it can be written as 5*2+3.

Now, squaring 5n+3,

(5n+3)^2 =25n^2 + 30n + 9

9 can be written as 5+4

= 25n^2 + 30n + 5 + 4

Taking 5 common from first 3 terms

= 5(5n^2 + 6n + 1) + 4

Now, 5n^2 + 6n + 1 is just some random number with any value, if you remember in the beginning I said n is a random number, so 5n^2 + 6n + 1 will be any random number too, but in the equation it is multiplied by 5(we took 5 common), therefore the term 5(5n^2 + 6n + 1) is divisible by 5 as 5 will cancel out. To this term, we have added 4 in the equation, and that is the remainder that will be left. Therefore the answer is (D) 4.

Answer:

(d)4

Step-by-step explanation:

Dividend=Divisor×Quotient+Remainder

Let We take Quotient as 1

then, we get

Dividend=5×1+3

(Divisor=5 and Remainder=3, as given in the Question)

Dividend=8

And when 8²/5= 64/5

Quotient=12 and Remainder=4

Hence, our answer is 4
