Step-by-step explanation:

(i) amount spent on football = total money spent on sports*(50/360)

₹5000= amount spent on sports(5/36)

amount spent on sports= 5000*36/5= ₹36000

(ii) amount spent on hockey= 36000*(100/360)

amount spent on hockey= ₹10000

(iii) amount spent on cricket = 36000*(160/360)

amount spent on cricket = ₹16000

so amount that is spent more on cricket than hockey is = ₹16000-₹10000= ₹6000
