Sum of:

2x - 3y + 5z = 0 \\ - 3x + 4y - 3z = 0 \\ = \\ - x + y + 2z = 0

Subtract this from:

7x - 2y + 4z = 0 \\ - x + y + 2z = 0 \\ + \: \: \: \: \ \: - \: \: \: \: \: \: \: + = \\ 6x - 3y + 6z = 0

6x-3y+6z=0

Dividing by 3;

2x-y+2z=0

Given:

  • Equation 1 = 2x-3y+5z
  • Equation 2 = -3x+4y-3z
  • Equation 3 = 7x-2y+4z

To find:

  • (Equation 1 + Equation 2) - (Equation 3)

Solution:

Equation 1 + Equation 2

= 2x-3y+5z -3x+4y-3z

= -x+y+2z

(Equation 1 + Equation 2) - (Equation 3)

=(-x+y+2z) - (Equation 3)

= -x+y+2z-7x+2y-4z

=-8x+3y-2z

Ans: -8x+3y-2z
