Explanation:

since motion is uniform circular motion thus v = constant

For equal velocity :-

ΔV = 2vsin (Φ/2).........(1)

angular displacement = 2π/3

Φ = 2*180/3

=120°

putting the value of Φ in eq.1

Δv = 2vsin(120°/2)

= 2vsin60°

=2v3/2

= v3

So change in velocity is v3 m/s
