Multiply both sides by 10

we get

10x = 41.2 {bar on 2}
Also, we can write in this form

10x = 41.222.... ......(1)

Multiply both sides by 10

100x = 412.222..... .......(2)

Subtract eq (1) and (2)

90x = 371

x = 371/90
