Given,
initial velocity, u = (3i+4j)
acceleration, a = (0.4i + 0.3j)
time for which speed is calculated, t = 10 sec
applying law of motion
v= u + at
=> v = 3i + 4 j + (0.4i + 0.3j) x 10
=> v = 7i + 7j
This is the velocity after 10 sec. But as we know,
MAGNITUDE OF VELOCITY AT ANY TIME = SPEED AT THAT TIME.
so magnitude of speed = ✓(7i^2 + 7j^2)
=> ✓(49+49)
=> 7✓2 units.
Happy to help.
