Answer:

1) 62 2) 2 Rs x 20, 5 Rs x 40, 10 Rs x 16

Step-by-step explanation:

1) ab two digit number, ab=10a+b

a=3b

ab-ba=36 => 10a+b-10b-a=36 =>a-b=4

a-b=3b-b=4=> 2b=4 => b=2 and a=6

Number is 62

proof: 62-26=36

2) 2Rs.- x, 5Rs.- y, 10 Rs.- z

y=2x

a) x+y+z=76 =>x+2x+z=76 => 3x+z=76 =>6x+2z=152

b) 2x+5y+10z=400 => 2x+5*2x+10z=400=> 12x+10z=400 => 6x+5z=200

From the difference in a) and b) we get: 3z=48=> z=16

6x+5*16=200 =>x=20

y=2x=40

So number of 2 Rs. = 20, 5 Rs. = 40, 10 Rs. = 16

Proof:

20+40+16=76

20*2+40*5+16*10=200
